How to choose your fitted sheet?
A perfectly fitted sheet is essential for a comfortable sleep and impeccable bedding. To choose the right one, several criteria must be considered: the size of your mattress, the pocket depth, the quality of the fabric, and care instructions. Follow this guide to make the best choice and enjoy comfort worthy of the finest hotels with Maison Trinitas.
Select the correct size
Choosing the right size is essential for a perfect fit. A sheet that's too small may not stay in place, while one that's too large will create uncomfortable creases.
Maison Trinitas offers several sizes to fit all bedding: 80x200 cm, 90x200 cm, 100x200 cm, 140x200 cm, 160x200 cm, 180x200 cm and 200x200 cm. Make sure you choose a fitted sheet whose dimensions exactly match those of your mattress for optimal support.
Check the cup height
The pocket depth refers to the part of the fitted sheet that covers the sides of the mattress. It is essential to select the correct pocket depth to ensure a secure fit and prevent the sheet from slipping off during the night.
Our Maison Trinitas fitted sheets have a generous pocket designed to fit mattresses up to 34 cm thick, offering a perfect fit without creases.
Opt for an exceptional fabric
The fabric of your fitted sheet has a direct impact on your comfort and the durability of your bed linen. At Maison Trinitas, we use premium cotton sateen with a 120 thread count (300 threads/cm²). This dense, silky weave guarantees unparalleled softness, exceptional durability, and a feeling of coolness in summer and warmth in winter. Choosing cotton sateen means choosing elegance, comfort, and the quality of exceptional linens.
Opt for a neat finish
A good fitted sheet isn't just soft and durable; it also needs to be practical. Our models feature elastic at all four corners for a precise fit and easy installation. This finish ensures a secure fit and a sheet that stays firmly in place, even after several nights of sleep.
Caring for your fitted sheet for optimal longevity
Well-maintained bed linen lasts longer and retains its softness. Before first use, a pre-wash at a low temperature is recommended. To preserve the bright whiteness of your fitted sheet, avoid washing it with colored laundry.
Our maintenance recommendations:
- Machine wash at 90°C for white sheets, and at 60°C for colored sheets
- Do not calender to preserve the fabric's suppleness.
- Bleach is prohibited, in order to avoid damaging the cotton fibers.
- Dry cleaning is prohibited to avoid damaging the material.
- Air dry or machine dry at a low temperature to preserve the quality of the cotton satin
Like all natural fibers, cotton undergoes slight shrinkage on the first wash, which is why our fitted sheets are intentionally oversized.
By choosing a Maison Trinitas fitted sheet, you are investing in exceptional bed linen that combines comfort, quality, and aesthetics. Treat yourself to a refined and lasting sleep experience worthy of the finest hotels.
